Challenges in brokerage activities? Brokering and intermediation explained in a chart.

I share with you a very inspiring chart from a business brokering association that I think could be very useful for other sectors. It shows the brokering process divided by activities. It is a very demanding job with a lot of sales: selling your services and selling the product to the buyer, assessing the right value of your goods, deciding whether to proceed with a seller or a buyer, negotiations etc.

It is important to understand your reach! When other participants start in the supply chain. The higher the complexity of a sector, the more requirements in initial capital to last longer sales cycles, fully understanding your niche, building a network that will help you smooth the process etc.

Key skill: Endurance. "You'll put hundreds of hours into a deal only to have it fall apart for reasons beyond your control."
